Introduction
Hi! My name is Toh Shi jian and I’m studying in UOW Bachelor of Computer Science, specialization in Cyber Security.

About Myself 😀
I’m the youngest in my family. First is my sister, then my brother, then of course me.
Before University and National Service, I was studying Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology in Nanyang Polytechnic. My parents thought it will be a good idea to study that course is because my sister took it before, therefore my sister could help me in my studies if ever I needed help. Good idea, but is not what I wanted. However, still manage to graduate and made good friends 😀

When I was young, I picked up the interest in programming. During my Secondary School days, my Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) is Robotics Enterprise. Using LEGO parts, programming software and creativity, a robot can be created to solve tasks and clear objectives. Seeing the program works gives me a sense of satisfaction, that’s why I chose to take Computer Science, to broaden my knowledge on coding and programming.

My Hobbies
In my spare time, I like to do art, like drawing and sometimes making cards for my friends. while drawing, I learn to be patient and also taking notes of details. To some of my friends my art style is kind of grim, but to others is cool. Let you decide 😀

Other than arts and crafts, I also like to go sightseeing. With that, I will occasionally join my friends for trekking and night-cycling. It helps me to wonder my mind and just relax, chilling with my friends as well.

At times, I just like to lay down on my bed and just listen to songs. I prefer rock genre types of songs even when I’m relaxing, but sometimes slow and symphony songs are alright too. Currently my favourite band is Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas band. Their songs are quite unique, as to me, their music is kind of like random. When I first listen to their song, I was confused, but after listening for long period of time, I love it and it helps me in my workout and also day to day hype 😀
